You may notice that our blog is no longer private. This is because we have a bit of news.
We are going to be adopting.
This is such an exciting step for us because we'll finally be able to start our family.
We hope our now-public blog might serve as a medium through which a prospective birth mother could get to know us.
We are working through the approval process with LDS Family Services and are really looking forward to what the future has in store for us.

oh this is WONDERFUL news!! I coulnd't be more happy for you both...you have an exciting journey ahead of you! I am sure you probably have tons of help, but my sister candise has gone through the adoption process and is also still very active with her local FSA chapter. If you want some great advice, she is always more than happy to share what she knows!

Congrats you guys on this exciting step! I didn't have a clue this was in the picture for you guys, but given the fact that I mostly talk about Phil or life insurance with you guys it makes sense. :) It is crazy the course some of our lives take to get our family here. I am excited to hear how this is going for you and hope you keep us updated on what you feel up to sharing! Good luck! I hope it all works out sooooon!
